What we have not learnt during 65 years of independence

It will be our 65th independence day next week.In all this time our country has been thru many moods ,ebb and flows and In this long span of time the wheel of fortune has so rotated that that we only remember it on 15th of august that we are independent.

Indian history has seen great heros.. time will make them all unbelievable.Great Scientist Albert Eintein had once said about Mahatma Gandhi that generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever in Flesh and Blood walked upon this earth.Such an ideal being was he. Great Freedom Fighter  Bhagat Singh was just 24 when he was honoured with the title 'Shadeeh'. Really it sometimes is amazing to think about that sublime era.

Surprisingly.. after 65 years of independence there are lessons yet to learn.Lesson that says we posses freedom. Its meaning having been extended continously from time to time. Every year we celebrate this day with a joy and lilt speeches but as days pass we go so lethargic. All that feeling goes pale.Let us make it a point to remember that we possess freedom.. gained with hard efforts... Not only from the British But in its absolute sense. FREEDOM to be happy.. despite of what the surrounding says. Let no one around you disturb you. Enjoy this blissfull sense of belongingness,be proud if not patriotic.

Let us take a promise for COMPASSION. Succinctly , being Dish envy cant make u healthy, never. After all the ultimate aim of life is to be happy.. satisfied all the way. Make goals that are not inmical to your people.
To have deep sense of humility if not solemn, thankful if not indebted.

Obviously its not easy to be Heros we hear about they have set standards but again its not so difficult to support if not initiate...venture out whats not acceptable.. to monitor no one just oneself.. have a get up and go attitude... not to have those similar crass and arbitrariness of general citizens.

The only difference between the heros and us is that they believed...believed without any space for doubt.. and that gave them the eminence to act with vivacity.. not for them but for others. Now we just need to BELIEVE that even a single effort counts.and it will...curb the way.

Happy Independence day to all my fellow Indians .. make it a point that this independence day you dont just enjoy the high octane performance but perform a little too...
